Who got the talent?
Mahouts take a major part in training elephants. The training mostly depends on ability of elephants and their hard work in practicing. After separating them from their mom, mostly when they are around 2 years old, the mahout will train them everything such as greeting guests, painting, and playing football. For the older elephants aged 30-40 years old, they will ride the guests to travel in the natural path for 30 minutes each time and it costs 800 baht.
What is Mahout Course?
This is the new service from Mae Sa Elephants and wants to get close to elephants. Starting from learning how to ride, give bath and give basic command to elephants, plus Thai food cooking classes. Finally for those who love elephants, it’s an activity you can’t miss “Thai Elephants at Mae Sa Elephant Camp and host by Mr. Sutipong Tadpitakkul or “Heart”. There will be an Elephant Parade and Blessing Elephant Ceremony. All Elephant Lovers are welcome in this day.
